Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, adjusting medical equipment as necessary to stabilize vitals.
- Administer complex intravenous medications and manage ventilators for critically ill patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary medical teams, including intensivists and specialists, to develop individualized care plans.
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid clinical decision-making and precise intervention techniques.
- Maintain comprehensive electronic health records (EHR) with high accuracy and compliance.
- Provide empathetic support and clear communication to patients and their families during critical care transitions.
- Mentor junior nursing staff and participate in ongoing clinical research or quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an ICU or high-acuity setting.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certification.
- Exceptional critical thinking skills with the ability to handle high-stress environments.
- Strong proficiency in utilizing advanced monitoring systems and digital health documentation.
