Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for oncology patients
- Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted treatments with precision
- Monitor patient vitals and manage treatment side effects proactively
- Collaborate with oncologists, surgeons, and palliative care specialists
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during challenging journeys
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and regulatory documentation
- Mentor junior nursing staff through clinical rotations
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- 3+ years of oncology nursing experience
- Current RN license in Massachusetts
- Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) certification preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience with chemotherapy administration protocols
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays
