Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical protocols and nursing standards.
- Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Provide emotional support and health education to patients and their families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) qualification and current NMC registration.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of post-registration experience in acute care.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced hospital environment.
