Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, responding immediately to changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to medical orders and safety protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care.
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license in New York State.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Critical Care or Telemetry nursing.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- CPR certification.
