Responsibilities
- Manage comprehensive care for patients with complex cardiac conditions in a high-acuity environment.
- Monitor hemodynamic stability and interpret telemetry data in real-time.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans.
- Administer advanced cardiac medications and manage life-support equipment.
- Provide empathetic support and education to patients and their families during critical transitions.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and clinical research projects.
- Mentor junior nursing staff and nursing students in clinical best practices.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an ICU or Cardiac Care setting.
- BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certifications (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
- Proven ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure medical emergencies.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective team collaboration.
