Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized cardiac nursing care in a 24-bed ICU unit
- Administer medications and perform advanced cardiac assessments
- Mentor junior nurses and conduct clinical skills training
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on treatment plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Respond to emergency cardiac events with rapid intervention
Qualifications
- BSN degree (MSN preferred)
- Current Illinois RN license
- 3+ years of ICU/cardiac nursing experience
- ACLS/BLS certifications (required)
- Advanced cardiac life support certification
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
