Responsibilities
- Deliver expert clinical care to cardiac patients with complex conditions
- Mentor junior nursing staff through our structured preceptorship program
- Lead interdisciplinary care coordination for high-risk patient cases
- Implement evidence-based practices to improve unit outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization
- Contribute to patient education programs for chronic disease management
- Collaborate with physicians on treatment protocols and care plans
Qualifications
- BSN degree (MSN preferred) with current Illinois RN license
- 3+ years of acute care experience in cardiac/telemetry units
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Demonstrated expertise in ECG interpretation and arrhythmia management
- Strong leadership skills with prior mentorship experience
- Proficiency in Epic EMR and cardiac monitoring systems
- Excellent critical thinking and emergency response abilities
