Responsibilities
- Lead patient assessments and develop individualized care plans for critically ill cardiac patients
- Mentor and precept new nursing staff through our structured onboarding program
- Administer complex medications and advanced life support interventions
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care conferences and discharge planning
- Participate in hospital-wide quality improvement committees
- Utilize Epic EMR for accurate documentation and data analysis
Qualifications
- BSN degree with 3+ years of acute care experience (cardiac preferred)
- Current NY RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications
- Proficiency in Epic EMR and telehealth technologies
- Experience mentoring nursing students or new graduates
- Strong critical thinking skills in emergency response scenarios
- Commitment to continuous professional development
