Responsibilities
- Design and execute complex molecular biology experiments to advance therapeutic targets
- Lead cross-functional research projects spanning protein engineering and cell culture
- Analyze high-throughput genomic data using Python/R and machine learning tools
- Develop and optimize novel assay protocols for drug discovery workflows
- Present findings to executive stakeholders and publish in peer-reviewed journals
- Mentor junior scientists and contribute to patent development
- Ensure compliance with FDA/ICH guidelines for preclinical research
Qualifications
- PhD in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing and mammalian cell culture systems
- Proven track record of leading research publications and patent filings
- Proficiency in NGS data analysis and bioinformatics pipelines
- Experience managing lab budgets and research equipment validation
- Strong project management skills with cross-functional collaboration experience
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation abilities
