Responsibilities
- Lead design/execution of complex in vitro/vivo experiments for therapeutic target validation
- Develop novel assay platforms using NGS, single-cell sequencing, and AI-driven analytics
- Drive translational research from concept to IND-enabling studies
- Author regulatory submissions and patent applications with IP counsel
- Mentor 3+ R&D associates and cross-functional project teams
- Present findings at international conferences and peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field with 5+ years industry R&D experience
- Proven expertise in gene editing (CRISPR/Cas9) or protein engineering platforms
- Strong publication record in high-impact journals (Nature/Science/Cell)
- Familiarity with GLP/GMP compliance and FDA/EMA regulatory pathways
- Advanced proficiency in Python/R for bioinformatics and statistical modeling
- Demonstrated success leading $1M+ research budgets
