Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end R&D cycles for next-generation material development.
- Design and execute complex experiments to validate product performance and safety.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate R&D findings into manufacturing.
- Author technical white papers and patent applications to secure intellectual property.
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of rigorous scientific inquiry.
- Analyze large-scale data sets to optimize material properties and production efficiency.
- Present research progress and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
- Minimum of 5+ years of industry experience in product-focused R&D.
- Proven track record of developing patented technologies or successful commercial prototypes.
- Expertise in advanced characterization techniques (SEM, XRD, DSC).
- Strong proficiency in data analysis software such as Python, R, or MATLAB.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Experience managing project budgets and laboratory safety compliance.
