We are seeking a visionary Senior R&D Scientist to lead experimental design and push the boundaries of nanotechnology and polymer science. In this role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical research and scalable commercial application, working alongside world-class engineers in our Cambridge-based facility.

Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end R&D projects from conceptualization through prototype validation.
- Design and execute complex experiments using state-of-the-art analytical instrumentation.
- Analyze multi-dimensional datasets to drive evidence-based decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new material technologies into existing product lines.
- Author technical patents, white papers, and research reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of technical excellence and safety.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of post-doctoral or industrial R&D experience.
- Deep expertise in thermal analysis, microscopy (SEM/TEM), and spectroscopy.
- Proven track record of taking a product from lab-bench development to pilot-scale production.
- Strong proficiency in statistical software and data modeling tools (MATLAB, Python, or R).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-expert stakeholders.
