Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of experiments for next-generation material development.
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends and optimize research outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and manufacturing, to scale prototypes.
- Author technical reports, patent applications, and peer-reviewed research papers.
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of scientific excellence and continuous learning.
- Oversee lab equipment maintenance and ensure strict compliance with safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or a closely related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a corporate or academic R&D environment.
- Proven track record of managing end-to-end research projects from conception to deployment.
- Expertise in advanced characterization techniques (e.g., SEM, XRD, Spectroscopy).
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, R, or JMP.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
