Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end research projects focused on next-generation composite materials.
- Design and conduct sophisticated experiments using state-of-the-art laboratory instrumentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to scale prototypes for manufacturing.
- Analyze complex data sets to drive material performance improvements.
- Author technical patents, white papers, and peer-reviewed journal articles.
- Mentor junior researchers and facilitate internal knowledge-sharing sessions.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related physical science.
- 5+ years of hands-on industrial R&D experience in advanced materials.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery and patent development.
- Deep expertise in analytical characterization techniques (SEM, XRD, DSC).
- Strong proficiency in statistical analysis software (JMP, Minitab, or Python/R).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to stakeholders.
