Responsibilities
- Design and execute complex experiments for the development of next-generation high-performance polymers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to scale laboratory innovations into industrial-grade applications.
- Author technical reports, white papers, and patent filings to document proprietary discoveries.
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of rigorous scientific integrity and peer-reviewed excellence.
- Stay at the forefront of the industry by conducting literature reviews and analyzing emerging technology trends.
- Manage laboratory assets and ensure strict compliance with federal safety and environmental regulations.
Qualifications
- PhD in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related scientific discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of post-doctoral or industrial R&D experience.
- Proven track record of innovation with at least 3 granted patents or peer-reviewed high-impact publications.
- Expertise in advanced characterization techniques such as SEM, TEM, and DSC.
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or statistical software packages.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
