Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development of proprietary polymer composites from conceptualization to prototyping.
- Design and execute complex experimental protocols to test material performance under extreme environmental conditions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate new material breakthroughs into our core product roadmap.
- Author high-quality technical documentation, patent applications, and research whitepapers.
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of scientific excellence and safety.
- Oversee laboratory operations, including equipment procurement and maintenance of regulatory compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related physical science discipline.
- 5+ years of post-doctoral or industry experience in advanced material characterization and formulation.
- Proven track record of publication in high-impact peer-reviewed scientific journals.
- Expertise in analytical techniques such as SEM, DSC, TGA, and FTIR.
- Strong background in data modeling and statistical analysis using Python or MATLAB.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguous research environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
