In this role, you will lead high-impact research initiatives, transforming theoretical concepts into scalable, industry-disrupting products. You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams in a cutting-edge laboratory environment designed for rapid prototyping and iterative testing.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end R&D lifecycles, from initial conceptualization to prototype validation.
- Design and conduct advanced experimentation using proprietary testing methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new material properties into scalable product lines.
- Author technical documentation, patents, and white papers to protect and promote intellectual property.
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of rigorous scientific inquiry.
- Analyze complex data sets to drive evidence-based decision-making.
- Stay abreast of industry breakthroughs to maintain the company's competitive edge.
Qualifications
- PhD in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in an industrial R&D environment.
- Proven track record of taking scientific discoveries from lab bench to market application.
- Expertise in molecular modeling software and data analysis tools (Python, MATLAB, or JMP).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a high degree of technical autonomy.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to translate complex data for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in managing intellectual property and patent filings.
