Responsibilities
- Lead Research Initiatives: Spearhead technical research projects from ideation to proof-of-concept, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.
- Prototype Development: Design and build rapid prototypes to validate hypotheses, demonstrating feasibility and performance.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, engineering, and design teams to integrate R&D findings into scalable product solutions.
- Feasibility Analysis: Conduct rigorous technical analysis and risk assessments to determine the viability of new technologies and architectures.
- Intellectual Property: Draft patents, technical white papers, and documentation to protect and communicate our innovations.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, or a related technical field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in R&D, engineering, or a similar technical research role within a tech environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, or Java, with experience in data science or machine learning frameworks.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex, ambiguous problems with innovative, data-driven technical solutions.
- Methodology: Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments and managing R&D lifecycles.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical ideas to diverse stakeholders.
