Responsibilities
- Lead Experimental Design: Conceptualize and execute complex R&D protocols to drive product development and innovation.
- Data Analysis: Utilize advanced statistical methods and data visualization tools to interpret research results and derive actionable insights.
- Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in current methodologies and implement scalable, efficient solutions to improve throughput and quality.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including biology, chemistry, and engineering to ensure seamless integration of research findings.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior researchers and interns, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive lab notebooks and prepare technical documentation for patents and scientific publications.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a research and development environment, preferably within the biotech or pharmaceutical sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, R, or MATLAB for data analysis, and experience with laboratory automation equipment.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German (fluent preferred).
