Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of experimental protocols for neural device prototyping
- Develop proprietary algorithms for signal processing and biocompatibility testing
- Manage cross-functional projects with bioengineers and clinical research teams
- Document research outcomes in peer-reviewed publications and patent applications
- Mentor junior researchers and optimize lab workflows
- Secure and manage research grants from NIH and DARPA
Qualifications
- PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Neuroscience, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience)
- Proven expertise in microfabrication and implantable device development
- Strong programming skills in Python/C++ and MATLAB for data analysis
- Experience with FDA regulatory pathways for medical devices
