Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement cutting-edge algorithms for perception, planning, and control in autonomous vehicles and robotic systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, product managers, and AI researchers to translate research findings into production-ready software.
- Conduct rigorous testing, simulation, and validation of autonomous functions to ensure safety and reliability in complex environments.
- Stay abreast of the latest academic research and industry trends, contributing to patent applications and technical white papers.
- Mentor junior engineers and research scientists, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Optimize existing codebases for performance, latency, and energy efficiency.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in R&D or applied research within the AI, robotics, or autonomous systems domain.
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, and CUDA.
- Deep understanding of machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and computer vision libraries (OpenCV).
- Experience with Robot Operating System (ROS) and simulation tools (Gazebo, CARLA).
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier conferences or journals.
