Responsibilities
- Design and execute experiments on novel composite materials
- Develop scalable manufacturing processes for nanomaterials
- Lead cross-functional projects with mechanical/electrical teams
- Analyze data using ANSYS, COMSOL, and Python
- Secure patents and publish in peer-reviewed journals
- Mentor junior researchers and interns
- Present findings to executive stakeholders and investors
Qualifications
- PhD in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of industrial R&D experience
- Expertise in nanomaterial synthesis and characterization
- Proven track record of patentable innovations
- Proficiency with SEM, TEM, and XRD techniques
- Strong statistical analysis and experimental design skills
- Experience with ISO 9001 and FDA compliance standards
