Responsibilities
- Lead the conceptualization, design, and prototyping of advanced R&D projects from ideation to validation.
- Analyze complex datasets to identify patterns, develop algorithms, and optimize system performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, and Engineering) to ensure technical feasibility.
- Conduct rigorous testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and field trials.
- Document technical specifications, research findings, and architectural decisions for the engineering team.
- Mentor junior engineers and R&D interns, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
Qualifications
- B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in R&D environments, product development, or advanced engineering roles.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, or Java, with experience in at least one major ML/AI framework (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proven track record of navigating ambiguity and technical uncertainty.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a strong plus.
