Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary R&D projects from concept to prototype development
- Design and execute experiments with cutting-edge materials testing equipment

- Secure intellectual property through patent applications and trade secrets
- Mentor junior researchers and publish findings in top-tier journals

Qualifications
- PhD in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of hands-on R&D experience in industrial or academic settings

- Proven track record of commercializing at least 2 R&D projects
- Strong background in Python, MATLAB, and finite element analysis
- Published research in Nature/Science journals or equivalent
- Experience managing R&D budgets exceeding $500K
