Responsibilities
- Design and optimize quantum algorithms for NISQ-era hardware
- Develop error mitigation techniques for superconducting qubit systems
- Lead cross-functional research teams in quantum cryptography projects
- Publish findings in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Secure government and industry research grants
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming frameworks
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and compilation
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems preferred
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
