Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error-correction protocols to enhance qubit stability and coherence times
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum solutions for industrial applications
- Author peer-reviewed research papers and present findings at international conferences
- Collaborate with hardware teams to validate quantum circuit performance on real systems
- Mentor junior researchers and drive technical excellence in quantum software development
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years quantum research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and complexity theory
- Publication record in quantum computing or quantum information science
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum hardware
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced R&D environments
