Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Develop error correction protocols for scalable quantum systems
- Lead quantum machine learning research initiatives
- Publish findings in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Collaborate with hardware engineering teams to bridge theory-practice gaps
- Secure research grants from DARPA, NSF, and industry partners
- Mentor junior researchers and PhD candidates
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years of industry research experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and simulation frameworks
- Published work in quantum information science
- Proficiency in Python, Qiskit, or Cirq
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience with superconducting or ion-trap systems
- Track record of securing research funding
