Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Conduct advanced research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum protocols on superconducting qubit platforms
- Collaborate with hardware engineering teams to co-design quantum architectures
- Mentor junior researchers and publish findings in top-tier scientific publications
- Secure external research funding through government and industry grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related quantum field with 5+ years industry/research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithm design (QAOA, VQE, Shor's algorithm)
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Published record in peer-reviewed quantum computing research
- Demonstrated ability to secure competitive research funding
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems or trapped ion technologies
