Responsibilities
- Test Strategy & Planning: Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Automation Engineering: Design and maintain robust automated test suites using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright to reduce regression testing time.
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into our CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab) to ensure code quality gates are met before deployment.
- API Testing: Perform rigorous API testing using Postman and RestAssured to validate backend functionality and data integrity.
- Bug Management: Document, track, and verify bugs in JIRA with clear reproduction steps and impact analysis.
- Performance Testing: Collaborate with the team to identify performance bottlenecks and conduct load testing where necessary.
Qualifications
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 2 years in a Senior or Lead capacity.
- Automation: Strong proficiency in automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or similar) and scripting languages (Java, Python, or JavaScript).
- API Testing: Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and experience with tools like Postman or Swagger.
- Methodologies: Solid grasp of Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA best practices.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (German is a plus).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
