Responsibilities
- Design and maintain robust, scalable automated testing frameworks from scratch.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product and engineering teams to identify system requirements and test scenarios.
- Perform comprehensive black-box and white-box testing to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Lead root-cause analysis for production incidents and drive long-term resolution strategies.
- Mentor junior QA staff and advocate for best practices in test-driven development (TDD) across the engineering department.
- Develop and execute performance, stress, and load testing protocols.
- Manage the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline automated testing cycles.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance with a focus on automation.
- Expertise in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Proficiency in automation tools including Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
- Deep understanding of RESTful API testing and SQL/NoSQL database verification.
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong analytical mindset with a proven ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
