Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using Selenium or Cypress.
- Lead the QA strategy for new feature releases, ensuring end-to-end test coverage.
- Perform deep-dive root cause analysis on production defects to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab).
- Mentor junior QA engineers and foster a culture of quality across the engineering department.
- Execute complex load and stress testing to ensure platform scalability.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of test plans, test cases, and bug reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a strong focus on test automation.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, or JavaScript).
- Solid understanding of SQL and database testing methodologies.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured.
- Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
