Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Lead automation strategy using Selenium/Cypress and CI/CD pipelines to accelerate testing cycles
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish quality benchmarks across the development lifecycle
- Investigate and resolve complex product defects with root cause analysis
- Champion quality initiatives through JIRA, TestRail, and defect tracking workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define acceptance criteria and test scenarios
- Implement test-driven development (TDD) practices for API and microservices validation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of QA experience in software development environments
- Expertise in automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress) and scripting languages (Python, Java)
- Proven track record in API testing with Postman and RESTful services
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA best practices
- Strong SQL skills for database testing and data validation
- Certifications in ISTQB or similar QA methodologies preferred
- Experience in fintech or regulated industry a significant plus
