Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA and implement root cause analysis
- Integrate quality gates into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion quality best practices
- Conduct exploratory testing and usability reviews for new features
- Analyze test metrics to identify trends and drive quality improvements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance with proven track record in test automation
- Expertise in Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes (Agile, Scrum, Kanban)
- Experience with API testing (Postman, REST-assured) and database validation (SQL)
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing basics
- Proficient in defect tracking systems and test management tools (JIRA, TestRail)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
