Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Lead automation strategy using Selenium, Cypress, and JUnit to enhance test coverage and efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define acceptance criteria and quality benchmarks
- Identify, document, and track defects with precision using JIRA and Confluence
- Implement continuous integration pipelines with Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD
- Conduct root cause analysis for critical issues and drive preventive measures
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion quality engineering best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in QA roles with proven expertise in manual and automated testing
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress) and scripting languages (Python/JavaScript)
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and test environment management
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent quality assurance credential preferred
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into test scenarios
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
