Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans for web/mobile applications covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Develop automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright to accelerate release cycles
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA, ensuring clear tracking and prioritization
- Implement CI/CD pipeline integrations for automated test execution in AWS/GitLab environments
- Conduct exploratory testing and usability analysis to identify edge cases and UX improvements
- Mentor QA team members on best practices and testing methodologies
- Collaborate with product owners and developers to define acceptance criteria and quality metrics
Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA experience with 2+ years in leadership/mentorship roles
- Expert proficiency in test automation frameworks (Selenium/Cypress) and scripting languages (Python/JavaScript)
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) and database testing (SQL)
- Certified Agile/Scrum Master or ISTQB Advanced Level preferred
- Proven track record of improving test coverage by 40%+ in complex SaaS products
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
