Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks from the ground up.
- Execute comprehensive test plans for web and mobile applications to ensure maximum coverage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to identify and mitigate risks during the early development lifecycle.
- Perform deep-dive root cause analysis on production issues and implement long-term preventative solutions.
- Mentor junior QA engineers on best practices, automation strategies, and quality culture.
- Champion CI/CD integration to ensure continuous quality gates across the development pipeline.
- Manage defect tracking systems and provide actionable insights through clear, data-driven reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
- Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python, and test automation tools like Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
- Proven experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
- Deep understanding of RESTful API testing and database validation (SQL/NoSQL).
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
- Strong analytical mindset with an obsessive attention to detail.
