Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end QA frameworks including automation scripts, test plans, and regression suites
- Lead cross-functional testing initiatives for complex SaaS products with 500K+ user bases
- Execute manual and automated testing across web, mobile (iOS/Android), and API layers
- Drive defect lifecycle management using Jira and integrate with CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to establish quality gates and release criteria
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion quality assurance best practices
- Analyze test metrics to identify trends and propose process optimization strategies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA experience with 2+ years in leadership or senior roles
- Expertise in Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright for automation testing
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs and tools like Postman or Insomnia
- Experience with performance testing (JMeter, K6) and security testing methodologies
- Familiarity with agile/scrum methodologies and test-driven development
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent quality assurance framework preferred
- Proven track record of reducing production defects by 40%+
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
