Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Lead automated testing initiatives using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright to accelerate release cycles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality metrics and drive continuous improvement
- Execute manual and exploratory testing to identify edge cases and user experience gaps
- Analyze defects using JIRA and implement root cause analysis to prevent recurrence
- Champion quality best practices across Agile/Scrum development environments
- Maintain test environments and ensure consistent deployment pipelines
Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA experience with 2+ years in leadership/mentorship roles
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright)
- Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, or JavaScript)
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and containerization (Docker)
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or ISTQB Advanced Level certification preferred
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Proven track record of reducing defect rates by 30%+ in previous roles
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
