Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end test automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
- Lead QA strategy for cloud-native SaaS platforms, ensuring 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Execute comprehensive test plans including regression, performance, and security testing
- Collaborate with DevOps to integrate CI/CD pipelines with automated QA workflows
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish quality gateways in JIRA/Azure DevOps
- Champion test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD) practices
- Analyze defect trends and implement preventive measures using root cause analysis
Qualifications
- 8+ years of QA experience with 3+ years in automated testing for enterprise applications
- Expertise in API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and performance testing (JMeter, K6)
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation
- Certified in ISTQB Advanced Level or equivalent QA methodology
- Proven experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and compliance testing
- Demonstrable history of reducing production defects by 40%+ through strategic QA initiatives
