Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Automate testing workflows using industry-leading tools like Selenium and Cypress
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA and implement continuous integration pipelines
- Collaborate with product teams to define quality metrics and release criteria
- Conduct root cause analysis for critical bugs and drive preventive measures
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion QA best practices across the organization
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software QA with 2+ years in leadership roles
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress) and CI/CD tools
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and bug-tracking systems
- Experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and database testing (SQL)
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into test scenarios
- Certifications in ISTQB or equivalent QA methodologies preferred
