Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Automate testing workflows using Selenium/Cypress and integrate CI/CD pipelines
- Lead defect triage sessions and drive resolution with development teams
- Implement test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API layers
- Analyze test metrics to identify quality trends and improvement opportunities
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices across departments
- Validate user acceptance criteria through exploratory testing techniques
- Collaborate with product managers to define quality gates and release criteria
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA roles with 2+ years in automation testing
- Expertise in Selenium, Cypress, and at least one programming language (Python/Java)
- Proficiency in test management tools (JIRA, Zephyr) and bug tracking systems
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Experience testing REST APIs and web applications
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in complex systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent quality assurance methodology
