Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans and automation scripts
- Lead end-to-end testing cycles including functional, regression, and performance testing
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA with clear severity metrics
- Collaborate with developers to resolve critical issues and prevent recurrence
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality monitoring
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices
- Analyze test data to drive quality improvements across product lifecycle
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with 2+ years in automation
- Expertise in Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks
- Strong proficiency in SQL and REST API testing tools
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience with JIRA and Confluence
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- ISTQB certification or equivalent testing credentials
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization
