Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Develop automated testing frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA, ensuring thorough documentation and resolution tracking
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality standards and continuous improvement strategies
- Conduct root cause analysis for critical defects and implement preventive measures
- Mentor QA team members and champion quality engineering best practices
- Stay current with industry testing trends and emerging QA technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of QA/testing experience with 2+ years in leadership roles
- Expertise in automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Appium) and scripting languages (Python, Java)
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD methodologies and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing (OWASP, Burp Suite)
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into testable scenarios
- Certifications in ISTQB or equivalent quality assurance methodologies preferred
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities
