Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
- Automate testing workflows using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright to accelerate release cycles
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis
- Implement CI/CD pipeline testing strategies with Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Conduct API testing with Postman and REST-assured to validate backend integrations
- Perform exploratory testing and usability reviews to uncover edge cases
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define acceptance criteria
- Mentor QA team members and establish best practices for quality engineering
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA with 2+ years in automation testing
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium/WebDriver, Cypress)
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD methodologies and tools
- Experience with performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing basics
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and defect tracking systems
- Proficiency in SQL for database testing and API testing tools
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certifications in ISTQB or similar QA frameworks preferred
