Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Lead automation strategy using Selenium, Cypress, and custom frameworks to achieve 80%+ test coverage
- Implement CI/CD pipeline integration with JIRA, Jenkins, and TestRail for continuous validation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define acceptance criteria and quality metrics
- Conduct root cause analysis of defects and drive prevention strategies
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion quality best practices
- Stay current with emerging testing technologies and industry compliance requirements (PCI-DSS, GDPR)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software QA with 3+ years in test automation leadership
- Expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, and at least one programming language (Java/Python)
- Proven experience with API testing (REST/SOAP) using Postman or SoapUI
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and CI/CD processes
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and database testing (SQL)
- Certifications in ISTQB or equivalent preferred
- Demonstrable history of reducing defect escape rates by 40%+
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to translate complex requirements into test scenarios
