Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust automated testing frameworks for scalable cloud applications.
- Lead the transition from manual regression testing to a fully automated CI/CD integrated pipeline.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to translate requirements into precise test plans.
- Perform root-cause analysis on production defects and lead efforts to prevent recurrence.
- Mentor junior QA engineers on best practices, code reviews, and testing methodology.
- Conduct load, stress, and security testing to ensure enterprise-grade application performance.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for test architectures and quality benchmarks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3 years in automation.
- Expert-level proficiency in Java, Python, or Go.
- Deep experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Proven expertise in API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and SQL database validation.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD workflows using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a focus on defect prevention and process improvement.
