The Role:
We are looking for a candidate who can bridge the gap between manual testing and full-scale automation. You will work closely with Product Managers and Developers to define testing strategies that improve our user experience and reduce technical debt.
Responsibilities
- Design & Execute: Develop and maintain comprehensive automated test suites using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright to cover 90%+ of critical user paths.
- Bug Lifecycle Management: Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA, ensuring clear communication between QA and Dev teams.
- Performance Testing: Conduct load and stress testing using tools like JMeter or Gatling to ensure system stability under high traffic.
- CI/CD Integration: Implement automated testing pipelines within GitHub Actions or Jenkins to trigger tests on every commit.
- Regression Strategy: Own the regression testing strategy, ensuring zero critical bugs are released in production updates.
- Tooling & Innovation: Evaluate and introduce new testing tools and frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3 years specifically in Automation Testing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java. Strong knowledge of REST APIs (Postman, Swagger).
- Frameworks: Deep experience with testing frameworks like Cypress, Selenium WebDriver, or Appium.
- Databases: Solid understanding of SQL for data validation and query execution.
- Methodology: Experience working within Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
