Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Lead automated testing initiatives using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright to accelerate CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define acceptance criteria and quality gates
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA with clear severity classifications
- Conduct root cause analysis of production issues and drive preventive actions
- Maintain and enhance test documentation, test cases, and quality metrics dashboards
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion quality engineering best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA engineering with 2+ years in fintech or SaaS
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and scripting languages
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or ISTQB Advanced Level preferred
- Experience testing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Proficiency in performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into test scenarios
- Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
