Responsibilities
- Design and execute end-to-end test plans covering functional, performance, security, and regression testing
- Implement automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright to accelerate release cycles
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define quality metrics and continuous improvement
- Conduct exploratory testing and usability studies to identify edge cases and user experience gaps
- Maintain test documentation, test data environments, and QA infrastructure
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices across the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of QA experience
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress) and CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency in SQL, API testing (Postman, RestAssured), and performance testing tools
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and test-driven development
- Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management platforms
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent quality assurance methodology preferred
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into test scenarios
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail with a quality-first mindset
