Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Implement automated testing frameworks using Selenium/Cypress to accelerate release cycles
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and documentation
- Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and propose preventive measures
- Mentor QA team members on best practices and emerging testing methodologies
- Collaborate with product managers to define quality metrics and KPIs
- Champion quality initiatives across DevOps pipelines to shift-left testing
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA engineering with 2+ years in senior roles
- Expertise in automated testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright)
- Strong knowledge of API testing (REST/SOAP) with Postman or similar
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps)
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Certification in ISTQB Foundation Level or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in SQL and database testing concepts
